Our elderly deserve to be treated with dignity and respect! How will we do that? By going around shoving our hands in their letterboxes, of course!

Alright, I get it. It’s Thanksgiving then, right?

I’ve made this feed about technology, computing and a bit of science. Not sure why, and it’s probably quite bad. But you can give it a look.

The fall of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is no fall at all.

It comes ELEVEN years too late and has only happened as a damage limitation exercise.

We need to start having a grown up conversation about monarchy... and I'm starting it here.

President Orange Julius Caesar and his ilk claim that guns are a God given right but don’t feel that food is a God given right. They claim to care about babies but don’t care if they go hungry when they become children.

Amid all the fuss, remember that for much of the 1960s and 1970s, "the Spare" Andrew Windsor was just one unfortunate incident away from being the next king.

Hopefully, this appalling saga will lead to a proper national debate on our hereditary monarchy.

Long, long overdue.

It seems I have lost my first follower. My zero posts have obviously done something to offend them. If you’re that one person, I’ll promise to say even less in the future.

I’m not on Twitter and have never been on Twitter. It’s confusing to me that 40% of posts here are either screenshots of Twitter or people talking about how much better this is to Twitter.

This is exactly the same argument — and, in parts, even the same language — that segregationists advanced to argue that white people had a “right” not to live next to people who were different from them.
Vance says it is "totally reasonable and acceptable" for people to not want to live next door to people who speak a different language than they do

3 things Starmer could do instead of camps in old barracks that would actually WORK👇

1. Create safe, regulated routes to apply for asylum in the UK

2. Let asylum seekers WORK & support themselves

3. Fast track status for people from obviously unsafe countries

And so it begins, Musk's Grokipedia is scraping Wikipedia and re-writing things in Musk's image.

The entry for climate change?

Let's just say the Wikipedia entry has neither an "Economic and Policy Critiques" section, nor one on the "Role of Media and Advocacy" that accuses both of bias.

If SNAP benefits vanished tomorrow, feeding 42 million Americans for a month would cost about $7.8 billion. That’s less than 1% of the combined net worth of the three richest men in the U.S. A reminder of how obscene inequality has become and how easily hunger could be solved if we chose to.

What we're witnessing with #Melissa is ultra rare in the history of known hurricanes in the Atlantic. This level of sustained intensity and feasting on every joule of ocean heat content without any real disruption is incredible.

Not hyperbole: Jamaica is facing a generational catastrophic event.
