Like... there's a character who butchers his slaves in a supernatural attempt to bring his wife back from the dead (or something) which is characterized as especially heinous, but that's just exactly what slaveowners did. No movie ever has to be like "Yeah, but this is a REALLY BAD slaveowner!"
