Casting has started for "Ingvar!" Really excited to see how this cast comes together. And can't wait to meet the translator this weekend!

I've recently ordered two separate stage fighting reference books for a weapon that most people wouldn't need. I, however, will once again have this weapon appearing on stage come December. Care to guess what it is?

"Miss Holmes" at Centerstage in Federal Way was a lot of fun. The fights were particularly good. I wish they'd credited the fight choreographer in their program. Who did the fights?

An odd thing I was reminded of a couple of times this week: one can go out and do things and not post about them publicly. We don't have to broadcast our every activity or behavior.

If you are on Letterboxd, you should follow me. I've just joined, so there's not a lot of content from me yet, but... the SAG Awards nominations will happen relatively soon, and at that point I'll be tracking my reactions on there. Join in!

I had surgery back in February to correct breathing issues that were making it hard for me to lie prone, let alone sleep well. After reading this, I'm glad I did.

This past weekend, Ali and I put up our annual Book Tree Christmas Tree. It's quite an undertaking. This year's tree used 271 of the 323 green hardcover books that we had prepared. Next year we will have to expand the tree's footprint in order to be able to fit them all in.

Helping my parents move into a senior living facility for the rest of the week. Will be good to see them. Also, sad to go through decades' worth of stuff. Didn't expect to do this sort of sorting until they'd passed.

I'm looking for suggestions of plays to see in Mpls/St Paul on Saturday evening (11/16). Anyone I know in a show that needs to have me see it?

Starting to feel a little better after a couple days of something flu-like. Still, postponed the start of my play's workshop until next week so I don't get the cast sick.

It's been one week since my septoplasty and turbinoplasty surgery. Probably will be working remotely for a few more days. But, recovery seems to be going well.
