Agree Citizens United is terrible. Zero issue with capitalism working and people earning huge wealth from taking risks - folks don’t understand that the entire pie grows bigger when that happens. The utility of philanthropy (to the giver) is very underrated. Glad that’s a big part of your plan!

just that, and the tariff impact to the economy will be somewhat muted at a macro level. The big loser though will be small businesses that can’t afford to buy themselves a waiver.

US lobbying is a $4b annual business to influence our legislators who create regulations and laws. These laws & regulations impact companies and by definition, how they can conduct business. If corporate winners and losers are now just decided by who gets a tariff waiver - all that lobbying effort

by his many business failures), but I also fully believe he only cares about himself and how he is perceived, so I couldn’t grasp why he would embrace policies that are so easily and transparently bad for the United States and therefore bad for him.
