They were doing pretty well with my awesome "stick them in an empty gatorade bottle full of water" strategy. Good potting soil, a healthy dose of worm castings, temp control, and full spectrum lights should be an upgrade.

It still feels a bit odd not yanking everything out by the roots but apparently it's better for the soil to just chop the plant off at ground level so that's what I'm doing.
