I fainted last night (first time ever) at choir rehearsal, and every single person there leaped to help me (OJ, pillows, hard candy, etc.), one sitting beside me on the floor until I felt well enough to get up. They were decent human beings.

As a new grandmother, I am absolutely gobsmacked at women who do this. That MIL does not have anyone’s best interests at heart but her own. She’s a selfish child, trying to pass off a major nonstarter with a cutsie “oops!” Get her away from Mom and baby, and maybe “Dad” should stay away too!
