I will never forget the photo of Zelenskyy’s face after he saw Russia’s war crimes in Bucha in 2022. He seemed to age years in an afternoon. Watching him constantly cross the world asking for aid that should have been thrown at him is one of the deepest shames of our age.

Going to be surreal to see the Super Bowl calmly taking place amid this chaos.

This weird dithering over calling Musk a Nazi and an enabler of global fascism is exactly it. If you’re part of an institution who is scared to call him that then you’re in the wrong job. It’s like calling the fire service but they won’t even answer the phone because the flames look too scary.
A lot of people only want to identify Nazis after they've done the mass murdering bit. The thing is, you need to identify them and deal with them earlier to stop that.

Still running tests to find things in nature that Amad Diallo is actually scared of. Things he’s unbothered by: Anfield, shoot-outs, probably White Walkers.

Sorry to hear about Kath on reception passing away. Lovely, modest, loyal, lady. 55 years at MUFC.
I tweeted a pic of her in May ‘22 and showed her the huge reaction. She was well chuffed and showed her family. Then said: “thank you all so much. I’m only doing my job.” RIP.

I’m rereading The Great Gatsby, and I’m happy to see that even in 1920s literature, “rich white football player” was synonymous for “huge piece of shit”

Lots to fix for Amorim, none easy;
1) Not enough players are physically competitive/resolute (mazraoui an exception)
2) needs them 5-10 yards higher up the pitch to sustain attacks
3) still big gaps in central spaces, despite having lots of players in central spaces
