Frustrating that our state rep isn't showing up for the people that he represents.
I’m at a legislative breakfast for school districts in 3 central PA counties. I’m glad Rep. Paul Takac goes to bat for our district. Sad that Rep. Scott Conklin & his staff were absent. At a time of educational uncertainty, this shows that his office is unserious. He needs a primary challenger.

One of the many reasons science education is important. Yes, we also need to prepare the next generation of scientists and engineers, but basic understanding of science and how it works for everyone is crucial to build trust in science and scientists.
