"AI will take over."

Will it? better keep it away from table cloths and smart uniforms then —as the concept seems too wild for certain models to handle...

#ai #therevolutionwillbecompartmentalised ...and very much dangerously broken.

Not quite screenshots, well... actually this is the definition of a screenshot. Or, err... screen capture. But this is most of what game dev actually is (at least, it has been for me).

Annabel is finally getting shadows and light.

Trying to decide if this is proof positive that we live in a computer simulation, or, unequivocal evidence that we don't.

I think if Netflix were to pick up the rights, it would be decisive. #philosophical #heist

This is going to be a bit cryptic to most, but I finally got my spatial map algorithm working. This system runs in Node.js, optimised by Rust/WASM modules, and allows me to stitch together multiple #Matter.js simulations in a horizontal layout. Meaning I can have a very large game world. #webdev #2d

I finished my intro demo, combining #video with #js. This has taken a number of different skills to realise, ranging from video editing, to audio editing, to javascript synchronisation, #Pixi.js, infra skills with #aws and serving bitrate variable video with dash.js...

Finally.

After much faffing around in hyperspace, I've managed to finish the intro cutscene for my action/puzzler. I've been working on the game for some time, but finishing this feels like a milestone.

Hopefully people can see more of 'Escape the Eleventh Terminus' soon.

BEWARE: strobing lights!

What's with polygons? No matter what I attempt to achieve in the world of building online games, I always end up using polygons somewhere. I thought I'd be safe with a text adventure, turns out... best way to do speech bubbles that have omnidirectional points is... yep, you guessed it, dead parrots.
