Just a tired frontend dev learning to make some cool and interactive computer stuff
Some accelerometer shenanigans would be definitely cool! I need to buy some sensor kit and play with a couple of them. Shopping is actually the worst part of this hobby: this little thing costs like 10$, why I gotta wait like 3 weeks and pay twice this on shipping to play with a shiny new thing :(

Very nice, I really like your art style, it’s minimal but clean. I’ve also recently started the 20 games challenge, currently on the first one, still learning the ropes. Good luck to you on your journey!

Or, better yet, don’t rely on auto-generated node names and use groups, or set node paths explicitly.

Good luck! Although beware, programming GOD might be an anti-pattern 😁 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_obj...

If you don't have a lot of coding experience I recommend starting with GDScript. It's pretty similar to python, has better engine integration, more docs/tutorials and is dynamically typed, which makes it easier to start with (although I would still recommend learning about static typing asap)

C# support is builtin in godot, you just need to download the .net version of engine. You can find more info on differences and limitations of C# here docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tu..., hope that helps!
C# basics
Introduction: This page provides a brief introduction to C#, both what it is and how to use it in Godot. Afterwards, you may want to look at how to use specific features, read about the differences...

Is the text match case-sensitive, and is the space between terms necessary?

Hey, my name is Daniel, and I'm just starting out on my gamedev journey. I recently finished my first game for the GMTK jam. It's called Beatnik and you can check it out here monkeyroar.itch.io/beatnik. I'd love to connect with other hobbyist developers, so if you're a newbie like me - hit me up!

Also, not too long ago I finished my first game! It was for a GMTK game jam, and it's called Beatnik. It's a rather short but fun rhythm-based puzzle, and you can check it here monkeyroar.itch.io/beatnik
