Gotta love how @docker.com announced unlimited access to hardened images and put them behind a paywall.

dockerize local tooling and free your system of the oppression of, well, local tooling.

JFC most of this shit is invasive af. There are better alternatives.

If you want to give feedback on a feature
first, inform yourself on how it works, dont make dumb assumptions
second, dont just spam shit on a pull request that the dev working on the project has to deal with

If you don’t really know anything, you might look at my GitHub and think, “huh, this person knows some things.” If, however, you know some things, you might look at my GitHub and think “huh, this person doesn’t know shit.”

And you would both be correct.

When did Volta integrate pnpm? Last time I booted up a JS project, their compatibility was experimental. Today when I tried to run a script via pnpm, Volta yelled at me, telling me I needed to pin a pnpm version.

Very cool.

Is there such a thing as a Bluesky feed reader plugin for Obsidian? I think being able to open the right pane and see my discover feed, or any particular feed for that matter, would be pretty fucking cool.

The password prompt after sudo isn't actually for you. It's a psychic barrier to prevent your cat from accidentally executing system-altering commands while walking across your keyboard. Cats are notorious for their love of root access. The password protection is for your cat 🐈 and not for you. 😉

Vital workflow component.
1. Select “New Repo”
2. Enter name.

Shit, I need a name. It can’t be just any name. It has to be a Cool Name™️. My motivation to see this through to fruition hinges on the name I choose.

3. Panic.
I was ready to start working on this cool feature but I need a cool name and now I'm stuck :(

You should never rely on the information AI spits out when you submit a query. Learn how to identify high quality sources and do your own research. One reason why?

Russian disinformation propaganda is successfully poisoning popular AI chatbots:

I haven't even used "foundation models" (still refuse) and now that seems out of fashion and we're at "frontier models."

The lack of uncritical uptake of all these terms pushing #AIHype is incredible.

i have boilerplate code hanging out at compendium.lvnacy.xyz, and no matter what I do atm, nothing changes.

oh that’s right, it’s all backend shit. i just refactored the mongodb connection object and wrote the qraphQL resolvers.

API will be tested and implemented before the frontend gets any love.

began the process of migrating/merging my coding stuff into my design stuff. Since I started doing 100DaysOfCode here, I’ll keep this account active at least until I complete that. Otherwise, I’ll begin utilizing my other account for code stuff once I migrate my blog.

Wow this year has been rough. Dealt with two colds and a case of food poisoning. This set me back a week and half at learning Python 😫

But I’m back. Day 004 was spent working through the “Building an Expense Tracker” on freeCodeCamp. Gonna dive into some Python reading now!
