Samidare has a shield system that eats up enemy bullets and powers up your own shots in return. I'd say thats pretty similar to parrying?

if it can't find a next spell it wraps to the start of the wand which is the chainsaw. for some reason that gives u infinite speed. shit like that helps a ton
