First game to test on the Orion O6 with the ARM Immortalis GPU boots up and has acceptable performance!
However, in WINE's X11 mode, the game is unstable. In Wayland mode, the game performs better until eventually it hangs on the menu when non-focused. I suspect probably some queue dead/spin lock.

It finally arrived. Months in logistical hell, the Raxda Orion O6 ARM MiniPC has arrived. Even came in a very nice transparent acrylic case!
Very impressed with its presentation. Time to prep and boot it.

Radxa ROCK 5 ITX. Rockchip based, 8 Cores, 16GB Memory. Note that the WiFi module and SSD didn’t come with the board; I had them on hand.
Lots of IO: USB-C, HDMI In, 2 Gigabit LAN, 2 HDMI Out, 4 USB 3.0, header for a front USB 2.0, Audio IO… crazy.

Working with an Orange Pi Zero 2W again and finally got the 40 Pin expansion header installed.
However, pin 3 of the top row (see blue wire connector) did not like being soldered even with flux. Lead free solder worked?!
I suck at soldering and end up with solder pearls but it’s a hobby project.

This is Sonic Unleashed (Xbox 360 version) running natively on my AMD workstation thanks to the magic that is Unleashed Recompiled. This is running natively at 2K (VSync on) on my RTX 3060. Amazing what results static recompilation achieve.

This is a young budgie that survived while its 2 siblings perished in the heat this week.
Hopefully it can survive, I’ve currently got it in a little cage with food and seed. Had to put cardboard on the cage bottom because the birds toenails’ get caught on the carpet-like texture otherwise.

Had a very close encounter with a Aussie Bandy Bandy snake last night. It is dead now, but those snakes are apparently venomous.
Needless to say, if it’s around the house, it’s a goner.

Raspberry Pi 5 acquired; I know I’ve been a fan of Pi clones running on Rockchip Architecture but wanted to give the Pi 5 a shot too.

It boots after a RAM slot swap. Luckily it did since I don’t have any spare DDR memory on hand. Maybe contacts were dirty. It’s a AMD Sempron 64bit 2500+ !

Doing some work on the dual socket AMD machine. Giving its GeForce 2 MX200 some new thermal paste and a clean.

Yeah apparently it only supports one CPU at a time. Only 2GB max system memory as well.

Has a AGP 64MB nVidia GeForce 2 MX200 GPU in it as well!
Also has 256MB of DDR-400 RAM. I’ll test it out later this week.
