While suspension of disbelief is a cornerstone of Science Fiction, when it becomes nonsensical or completely ungrounded you're not able to accept the world around it.
If in this world being thrown into a reactor is not a real problem, then probably Road Runner cartoons make more sense.

Finally, I got to have a look. Not bad, because I love the genre I was able to give it the benefit of the doubt but it does suffer from a serious lack of extras. I kept finding myself asking why does the emperor of the universe not have any bodyguards?
