Hahaha... from cupboard doors falling on my head, INCHES of pigeon crap on the balcony, to a leaking ceiling into our shower from the shower above, to a winter when it couldn't get above 11 degrees, to being evacuated during Juan (ALL floors evacuated, as we were only 5th)... what a place this was.

May have gotten a tad angry on FB. My Father in Law has been fighting for "Gun rights! Defend yourself!!" for as long as I've been with my husband, so, yeah, it infuriates me, a person who has never touched a gun in her life, but feels completely safe in society.

Fighting to #KeepDalStrong led to a strong run this morning (sub 1hr 10k, even after yesterday's #LegDay!). The stream behind the Kearney Lake Dam was the lowest I've ever seen it. Come on rain!!!

Dear DFA Member, We are pleased to inform you that the Dalhousie Board of Governors and Dalhousie Faculty Association have been asked to return to conciliation on Monday, September 8. Rick Rose, the conciliation officer appointed to our file, has asked both sides to return to the table on Monday to try and reach an agreement. DFA has agreed to this request and welcomes the opportunity to continue discussions with the Board. It is critical that DFA continue all of our job action efforts until a tentative agreement is reached. Picket lines, social media pressure, and continued solidarity with the students and supporters will help ensure the Board comes to the table in a meaningful way, with a genuine interest in reaching an agreement.
