I decided to wear it today -- probably the first time in at least 30 years -- and I'm feeling like this...

It’s very VERY 1980s.

Think: Grey Flannel, Kouros, Polo, Etc. -- but woodier and a tad sweeter/spicier.

I have a lot of really great high school, college, and early-gay-social-life memories tied to this scent.

I have collected bottles for years, and have a few vintage ones that go back to the 80s/90s.

This week, I found an old bottle of one of my favorites in storage: Ralph Lauren MONOGRAM.

It was released in 1985 as a follow-up to the smash-hit POLO, but was discontinued in 1987.

I am on a low-dose, as stated above I’m at 150mb for a couple of weeks.

Also, Wellbutrin isn’t an SSRI — it blocks reuptake of norepinephrine and dopamine rather than seratonin.

I’ll go back to full strength if I need to, as it *has* been a positive part of my mental health journey.

But, I really do feel like I’ve made so much progress in therapy & a few of my triggers are completely gone from my life.

So, I’d really like to feel what I’m like without it.

All things considered, even with the world the way it is right now, I’m in a pretty good place personally and professionally.

I’ve actually weaned myself off of all other social media, too, which has done wonders for my mood even when I was still taking full strength.

Online resources are pretty vague about generic symptoms.

Anyone out there gone through this and have advice, how long it lasted for them, etc.?

I know I’m not alone in this, but it would be nice to hear personal stories.

Per my doctor, I started 150mg this past week.

Everything online suggests that Wellbutrin withdrawal is rare — but man, it has been a tough week, in particular the last couple of days.

I am highly irritable & feeling levels of anxiety I honestly haven’t felt in years.
