Not only were there elections this week, the WI election was an essential *first* step in securing future elections. And, that election was won despite the richest man in the world using his wealth & power to influence the outcome. Democracy still matters. Those that say otherwise should be blocked.

The addendum to Marie Kondo I kinda want to write: property loss and property theft are not actually that big of a deal. Most stuff we have is not that important and is replaceable, and getting too obsessed with control over stuff encourages a fantasy of the permanence and immortality of things.
