Today I am thinking about the first time I bought alcohol legally.
Freshly 18, I walked into the Off License (liquor store for you colonials) ready to flash my passport open like I was Agent Mulder and it was an FBI badge.

It's always a pain if you return to a job after a few years. Trump probably has to do all his Etrainings again. Manual handling, Our Core Values etc.

Harry Kernoff's vivid depiction shows Ringsend, Dublin in 1935. Located on the south bank of the River Liffey, it was named from the Gaelic Roinn Aun or Sea Point and in the 17thC took over from Dalkey as Dublin's main port before going into commercial decline in the 20thC.

Four years since I first posted this on the other place and my life became much stranger.
The most stressed out I've ever been about Christmas was when I was 16 and I got my first ever job, working at M&S in Dundrum. As soon as I started I kept hearing these myths about the Christmas Eve Waste Sale, where all the food that wasn't sold on the 24th was marked down 90%.
