4/ By coincidence, I was scheduled to meet tonight with the PTA of Greencastle ES, around the corner from the Arcadian, so I went directly from one site to the other. The principal is ready to help impacted students & their families, and I’ll share out ways the community can assist as we have them.

3/ Amidst this awful event, I’m grateful to the many who spent much of today into the evening ensuring every resident was accounted for & is in safe shelter, from Dept of Health & Human Services, Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security, Dept of Housing and Community Affairs, & Red Cross.

2/ One building’s damage was relatively minor, allowing residents to return after power was restored. The other building (13612 Colgate Way) had to be condemned, and 14 families were displaced. They were escorted back in on quick trips to retrieve things like medication and pets, primarily.
