Good bye Uncle Rusty: N – 1

It's the widely and most resolutely held belief amongst cyclists that the ideal number of bicycles to own is N + 1 where 'N' is the number you currently own. So one must wonder how it is possible that I might even consider actually reducing the herd. But it's true I'm doing it. I'm getting rid of a bike. Serious offers only please.

So I got the SpikeVax yesterday to fend off the latest COVID. Odd marketing if you ask me. Sorta like Moderna asked RFK Jr for naming suggestions. Though it does hurt more than the others I've had.

I had a really pleasant experience at Service Ontario this morning. It was fast. The staff were kind and friendly. It's a shame the premier of the province is such a belligerent ass. Sure he 'walked it back' but you know it's still in his head www.thestar.com/real-estate/...

Ode to a tent

You're older than the person pictured in it. She is my life, my love. But you were first. Your seam tape tumbled to the floor in a heap one day. Every bit of elastic on you is a flaccid strap of fabric. Like pony tails on balding old men. The corpses of a thousand bugs are ground…

I was today years old when I learned that if you download Canva files as Powerpoints you can delete the text and just get the image from those memes that all the 'helpful' comms people send you when they want you to make a web page. I am so excited.
