People are so blown away that widespread racial profiling is also being used against off duty cops that they aren't noticing a local police chief is frustrated that these abuses are being carried out by a completely unaccountable, anonymous, masked secret police.
Chief Bruley on seeking accountability for ICE misconduct against his officers: When you call leadership they can't tell you what their people were doing that day. They give a website to file complaints. Complaint form requires you give agents' identity-but agents cover faces, don't wear name tags.
