Trump has quietly gutted enforcement of the corporate alternative minimum tax — a boon for big corporations.

His Big Ugly Bill, which slashed Medicaid and SNAP, also gave corporations $16B in new depreciation tax breaks this year.

A windfall for the wealthy at your expense.

On top of this, Trump has:

-Prevented the NLRB from operating
-Reversed Biden's minimum wage hike for federal contractors
-Gutted OSHA
-Rolled back dozens of workplace health & safety regulations
-Dropped the FTC’s support for a noncompete ban

The “pro-worker" president.
NEW: This year, Trump ended collective bargaining rights for 1 million federal workers — ending union protections for 1 in 14 unionized workers in the U.S.

No, Trump hasn’t helped workers. He’s helped bosses exploit them. Lawrence S. Wittner in @inequality.org:

This is what Republicans have wrought with their anti-abortion crusade.

But let’s be clear: Abortion bans aren’t pro-life. They’re pro-control. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SN3oLwO0OEE

AI is being used by corporations to shaft consumers and is threatening young workers’ job prospects.

So Trump wants to ram through a ban on state AI regulation — all to help out his Big Tech billionaire friends.

The House bill being voted on today to require cash bail in DC is insane.

DC hasn’t had cash bail since 1992, and crime has plummeted since.

Our current system is near identical to federal law.

People should be held pretrial if they pose a safety risk — not because they are too poor to pay bail.

Trump’s “healthcare” plan will bankrupt and kill millions of Americans.

We can eliminate the private insurance industry, and save $650B per year with Medicare for All — which would cover everyone, save families money, and include dental, vision, hearing, prescriptions and longterm care.

Democrats have spent 38 days trying to lower health care costs and reopen the government. Trump and Republicans completely control this process, and instead of looking for solutions they’ve defunded SNAP, interrupted commercial travel, and pursued political vendettas.

The only reason Republicans have dragged this shutdown on for so long is simply because Republicans don’t want to lower healthcare costs.

They are happy to let 24 million Americans see their premiums DOUBLE on average.

He ran on fixing a broken system and helping working people.

Instead, he’s making the system even worse and shafting working people by gutting the social safety net.
