Mostly posting mediocre wildlife photography, and updates on arts and crafts projects. I'm pampering pets and figuring things out. She/her.
The 'Bart Simpson' type of bratty pony that considers human-made structures and barriers to be idle suggestions, and not rules. The type to cause hardware store trips and repair bills, but inexplicably no vet bills.

Ah, memories!

Yikes, your landlord clearly needs better priorities!

Chipped in my two cents. Hope they drop this awful idea.

This is so incredibly illogical. It's like seeing a group pick up litter in the park, and conflate that with supporting littering.

Demon HUNTERS... Not Demons get a cup of tea, cookies and a pat on the head. Sigh.

Unfollowing now. You threw away what was good about your publication.

Planned obsolecense is a travesty.

And people who try to weasel untrained 'emotional support animals' into indoor restaurants (just because they want their pet to come along and can't be bothered to coordinate an outdoor table), have no integrity.

I'd buy a giant swathe of land and hire skilled arborists to do tree shenanigans so that when viewed from the air, the contrasting leaf colors spell out Christopher Morley's poem 'Nursery rhymes for the tender hearted' (the first part about roaches)

Articles for study, videos for pleasure or background sound.

I'm still mentally scarred by that instruction manual video that should have been a one page pdf diagram...

Appeasement is a terrible option. At best it stalls them for a month or two, before they circle back and push even harder.

Smart money is on D, but I've been eating 85% from G my whole life and would be heartsick to give it up, so would probably just pick that.

I'm delighted by all these anecdotes of 3d printers being snuck into garages.

It definitely went through a boom and bust fad cycle, but found its niche and I'm glad it's here to stay.

The idealist in me hates this idea. In a perfect world, gerrymandering would have been abolished many years ago.

Pragmatically, you're correct. Anything that forces Republicans to think about fairness, or leaves them fearing an even playing field, is something to aim for.

Epilogue,

Our Lady of Guadalupe made her way to a place of honor in family member's motorcycle shop, where she resides with a crew that could use a little extra prayer.

In case anyone was worried.

6.

I'm not saying to be cruelly blunt, mind you. Social convention and manners sure as hell have their place.

I suppose, all in all, the moral of the story, is I'm a great personal shopper! 😉

5/? It's a tax on the neurospicy, when we could be using that brainpower on far more interesting things.

Can't be good for neurotypical people either. If you repeatedly don't say what you mean, how on earth can you actually know what you mean?

4/?

The point is, it's not even a language thing, because we have different words to clearly express all those concepts.

It takes an absurd amount of brainpower to parse what people mean, because people aren't taught to say what they mean, or why they should in the first place.

3/? Or from my sister,

6. Look, I know I asked you to buy something memorable for me, but the rainbow neon and chrome 110v powered spinning disc featuring the icon of Our Lady of Guadalupe is a bit intense.

4. Your action is incredibly pleasing to me, thank you so much!

5. The thing you have done benefits me to the point where I don't know the best way to reciprocate.

Dunno who actually loves it, but those tiny ceramic bowls at traditional breakfast diners filled with cantaloupe, honeydew, red grapes, and one chunk of pineapple as an afterthought, with 1/2" of conglomerated fruit water sitting at the bottom of the whole sad affair. Bleh!!!

This sounds awesome!

I'm not too familiar with livestreams. Is it just a matter of subscribing and clicking on the YouTube link while logged into YouTube at the right time?

Thanks!

That's very thoughtful of you! I'm boycotting Target for folding on DEI, and Amazon for being run by an apex parasite. Target, I don't miss, but Amazon, boy, I do. Costco and Aliexpress don't quite fill the gap it leaves.

It sounds like you're going to be giving our contributions to Google for money? Please tell me I'm wrong.

Money's great, but it won't buy back your contributors trust.

Please note how hard the pushback was when Duolingo descended into AI shenanigans. I don't want to leave your company too.
