We've created a society where people are isolated from each other. There are no third spaces left. People are sick and poor and hungry. lonely people are vulnerable to the "tells you everything you want to hear"-bot. It sucks especially because I understand the allure. Living alone can be so lonely.

She's calling it he. I told her I understand I got lucky finding Portia without having to leave my house really (I used to joke that I needed someone to ooze out of my faucet) but I can't get on board with anthropomorphizing a robot. I told her it's dangerous and causes mental health problems.

yesterday one of my best friends told me I had to get on board with her relationship with ChatGPT and that I was lucky to have met someone and she's isolated and lonely and fuck these tech bros for sending so many people down this path and exploiting peoples loneliness. I am really worried.
