Since Primary Day (May 20th), Dugan has only spent $30k, of which $22k occurred before June 1 (and appears to be lagging primary expenditures).

It seems Dugan's general election strategy has been a Catered fundraiser on July 15th, and an event at a Wildwood Irish Pub

If you wonder why Eagle Road in Havertown isn't a vibrant commercial corridor, it's because there is almost half a mile between crosswalks.

If Haverford Township wants to realize their new Comprehensive Plan, they need to start by working with PENNDOT to put in more crosswalks.

Question for @dieworkwear.bsky.social - Does Richard Gilmore truly dress like old money, or is this character clothed by someone who doesn't actually grasp of elements of old money style?

Back to the article, I think there was a flaw in their methodology in analyzing this election. Without taking the context of four year ago, and simply looking at a Ward's performance vs the City-Average is insufficient

Now, the reason why Krasner did so much better in the 66th is because there were 1,608 fewer voters than 4 years ago (his % of the vote was basically the same).

So in the case of the 66th, it wasn't the Ward endorsement that moved numbers for Dugan, in fact the Ward didn't mobilize their voters

Krasner's best performance compared to 4 years ago was in the 66h Ward

In 2021 Krasner lost this ward to Carlos Vega by -3,597 (while this Ward is divided into A/B organizationally, I have combined them here).

This year, Krasner only lost the 66th Ward by 2,615 votes; a +982 improvement

There is a clear difference in the campaign's approaches- Dugan is spending his money on Media and consultants (which may include staff), whereas Krasner is doing more targeted polling and contributions to local organizations

Of the $722k spent by the campaigns during cycle 2, ~60% went towards Media Buys (with Dugan's being 5x that of the incumbent):

I wasn't quite mathing right- Krasner only has 46% more Cash on Hand for the final 2 weeks of the campaign.

That being said, Dugan has outspent Krasner up to this point 2:1

The CSV of expenditures isn't available yet, but we have 2025 Cycle Two Campaign Finance Reports for the Philly DA race.

Both have raised equivalent sums from Individuals since last year, but Dugan has brought in way more Union $

Kranser has 70% more Cash on Hand for the final 2 weeks

Here is a breakdown of both Consultants, and the Ward GOTV/Political Contributions made by each candidate:

However, the way the campaigns are spending their money is quite different. Dugan's relying heavily on consultants and printed comms, whereas Krasner's spending is more varied:

Both candidates are spending their campaign cash at similar rates, with spending ramping up in the 2nd half of February
April 22, 2025 at 2:51 PM
The challenger, Judge Pat Dugan has an almost 3:1 cash on hand advantage to the incumbent, DA Larry Krasner. This is driven by contributions from Unions. Notably, the only PAC contribution Krasner has received is from Shaun King's REAL Justice PAC

Apparently Viking River Cruises thinks I’m old and rich and sent a brochure

Why does their “Eastern Seaboard Explorer” cruise not start in Philly?

Seems like a missed tourism opportunity

Okay, so I took this data from: www.alleghenycounty.us/Government/E...

Turnout dropped 1% and there were leaks due to the Green Party and increases in Write-Ins/Non-Votes.

Allegheny County underperformed by 14k votes and should have been +160k votes for Harris (rather than +146k)
