The natural consequence of a government that has no ideology or overarching mission to guide them - they have no thoughts, no ideas, and so there's no way for ministers to think "yeah this fits" or "this doesn't".

A not-even-competently-technocratic, conservative, austerity-inducing government.

You could just ask people to make signatures and avatars for you based on your specs and they would - for free - because they loved doing it.

And it's just... gone. It was all so innocent and well-meaning and supportive and there were no ulterior motives, no data harvesting, nothing. It was so pure. We'll never have it like the 00s again. A truly golden age of the internet.

It’ll hasten our way to a European defence treaty organisation and push us towards an independent continental defence policy, and that’s only a good thing.

If a NATO member attacks another NATO member, the attacker is in abbeyance of the treaty and all other NATO members must support the signatory that has been attacked (Articles 8 and 5). If Trump does this, he'd be an enemy of all of NATO and the United States would be out.
