Scientists have developed a plug-and-play fiber interface for photonic chips, almost like adding a USB port for light. Nearly all of the light reaches the chip, enabling scalable photonic computing with ultra-low loss. 💡

🔬 Researchers developed intrinsically bistable #hydrogel microactuators using two-photon polymerization. Their dual light- and temperature-responsiveness enables stable, microscale actuation, which opens new doors for #softrobotics and #microfluidics.
