This is also a very telling part of article. Why does Damari associate Hamas with an occupying force? Particularly when Starmer has the condition that Hamas cannot be involved with the governing of Palestine.

This is the other side of the story. If you recognise a Palestinian state contingent on a ceasefire, Netanyahu is not motivated for a ceasefire. If you do it as a punishment for the continuation of genocidal behaviour, Hamas are less motivated to agree to a ceasefire.

This is clearly someone who survived deep trauma and a horrific circumstance. I am impressed by her eloquence and drive to continue speaking out.

For example, here's a point I agree with. Recognising the Palestinian state shouldn't be a bargaining chip. We should do it immediately - as Starmer promised in his manifesto
