I'm starting to think Assembly is a made up programming language whose only purpose is for Software Engineers to assert superiority over other engineers. Have you ever seen anyone programming in that language? And no I'm not just sour because I have a skill issue with C++.

Is it just me, or is engineering just the art of selecting the best tubes and rods for the job?

I've realized that some of my favorite marvels of engineering are essentially a bunch of tubes and rods arranged in a way to do a certain task.

LHC, Saturn V and Hubble somehow all tick this box.

So, isn't like every engine a solid motor?
