People have lost. their. minds. Someone tried to drive around me when I was in the middle of backing out of my driveway the other day. And this was like three days after a kid on a bike died after being hit by a car literally up the street. You’d think people would still be on edge here, but nope.

We were in Salem a couple of weeks ago, and some store was blasting Christmas music in the alley by the Witch Trials Memorial. All while Halloween stuff was still out everywhere. Definitely made it creepier, that’s for sure.

Even though she, my brother, and I had to sit in a room and decide whether or not to take my dad off life support (and if so, at what time) not four freaking years earlier. Did it not occur to you then that maybe you wouldn’t want to put your children through that again? Boomers, man.

They really think they’re invincible somehow. My mom ended up in the hospital overnight last year (nothing major) and they asked her the standard “do you want to be resuscitated if the worst happened?” This woman had the AUDACITY to say, “oh, I never thought about it.”

There’s a picture of Epstein and Dershowitz standing in our office kitchen that made the rounds a while back. It was from 15ish years before we moved in, but the kitchen and view are basically the same. I think about it every time I make myself a coffee.
