Still #snowing in #PortTownsend at sea level. Started ~8:30 am and has continued to night. All snow, no rain. Ground mostly unfrozen so it took a while to start sticking. 1.5 to 2 inches on the ground now and surfaces have reached the freezing point. Looking at the radar there’s more coming. #WAwx

So far this morning the #wind greatly exceeds the NWS zone forecast for #AdmiraltyInlet. 30 mph with gusts to 36 at the #NorthwestMaritimeCenter and no small craft advisory yet. Rethinking crabbing plans for today. #WAwx

Cliff Mass and Seattle WindWatch are indicating higher winds in #PortTownsend this Saturday than what I'm seeing on the Euro (via the Windy app). Who's correct? #WAwx

Latest first #frost?
Usually we get our first frost around Halloween. This year: December 10. It wasn’t even a hard frost, but I’m about a half mile from the ocean, so temperatures are moderated. Still, what’s up with overnight lows? #WAwx
