Fixed my TV! The T-CON board on my LG OLED was crapping out. Realized that one of the ribbon clips wasn’t tight. Fix isn’t pretty but no one will know but me.

Just a reminder that you can know a lot about something and still miss the obvious thing.

I put a new SSD in my laptop, and it was regularly bluescreening. I was pretty sure it was either a bad Windows OS transfer or a defective drive -- some unknowable, intractable problem. Turns out: firmware.
