Built something fun over the weekend: a Chrome/Edge extension called Prompt Drawer that lets users save and organize commonly-used AI prompt snippets or full prompts. Still some rough edges, so happy to have any feedback. Details in the blog post.

Stupid Weekend Project: Prompt Drawer edition
I love a good Stupid Weekend Project: some dumb hardware or software idea that you wake up thinking about and feel compelled to crank on to see where it goes. Here’s a new goofy thing for man…

Hey @bobmouldmusic.bsky.social — any chance you’d share chords for Roll

Target's Switch 2 preorder shipping experience was a little nuts. Up until late last night, they were saying that it was "about to ship" and wouldn't arrive until *next Wednesday*, then all of a sudden it's coming today.

I guess it's an underpromise/overdeliver thing, but sheesh.

In my life, I've read two books that I almost had to stop reading because I was so intensely unsettled: Richard Preston's "The Hot Zone" back in 1995 and, just last week, Annie Jacobsen's "Nuclear War: A Scenario." Both books that I'm glad I read and never want to read again.

There's a strange BlueSky algorithm quirk (I'd call it a bug) where I frequently see the same story reshared by the same person two or three times in a row. I wish it would not do that.

Dunno if @reckless.bsky.social and @davidpierce.xyz are watching Andor, but the wedding reception in S2E3 has the final form of the Sony ULT party speaker.

Was able to score a Switch 2 preorder a few minutes after midnight. Few errors during checkout in the Target app, but it seemed to work without huge headaches. It's interesting that the API endpoints for mobile apps feel more robust and reliable than using the raw Web.

Just learned that Eric Van Lustbader isn't a pen name. Dude not only was born with the dopest writer name ever, but has a Zelig-like biography intersecting with Lauren Bacall, the Carradines, Elton John and John Lennon. Clearly the most interesting man in the world.

Hey @davidpierce.xyz -- Vergecast question: the recent midweek episodes have basically been two separate shows merged into one very long episode. Any reason not to just split them up into two different episodes to be released on different days? Love the show, keep it up, etc. etc.

It’s worth stating this simply: For literally anyone in the US Govt from 1945 to 2025, Signalgate would require an instant resignation—and a criminal investigation. It would be a matter of personal *honor* to resign. The fact Mike Waltz & Pete Hegseth are choosing to fight it out is a terrible omen.
