Every time Kingdom Hearts comes up I ask if the new game is better than Kingdom Hearts 2. Everybody tells me no. I don't know how the series has been able to continue in the shadow of this absolute fucking banger for so long without surpassing it. Unbelievable final sprint to the end.

Thinking on it, what makes that whole thing of “unlike most mecha series, Evangelion is less about the robots and more about the characters” is that I think Evangelion is actually very much about the robots, more so than a lot of other mecha, Eva is very very much focused on the robots
