It is a huge privilege to announce that I have been shortlisted for the Afan Ogwr Rhondda constituency.

I would like to thank everyone who has supported me and urged me to apply to stand for Welsh Labour in upcoming 2026 Senedd Election.

It was never about protecting women and children.

The far right will continue to masquerade as allies. We need to ensure that violence against women in girls is not used as a tool to do more harm.

Happy Pride Swansea! Which pointedly coincides with Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.

It is vital that all of us stand up against hate. I stand in solidarity with my LGBTQ+ friends and family. Especially my trans sisters who are facing attacks on their right to live freely.

Hi everyone! 💜

If you’re able to donate, I’d be so grateful — even a small amount makes a big difference. And if you’re not in a position to donate, I’d love it if you could share my link with your friends, family, or colleagues so we can spread the word.

Another horse has died as a result of the Grand National.

We are constantly talking about how horses are a part of our culture and history. They deserve so much better.

"The tragic death of Willy De Houelle, the 66th horse to die at the Aintree Festival since 2000, illustrates why we need a new, independent regulator that has horse welfare as its number one priority." – Emma Slawinski, CEO.

I’m glad online misogyny and men killing women is being spoken about at senior levels but with 1 women being killed every 3 days in the UK, why does it take a fictional drama for us to start looking for solutions?

Today, Minister for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls @jessphillipsmp.bsky.social read out the names of the women and girls who have been killed by men over the past year.

Harrowing, and yet this is the 10th time we have heard Jess Phillips read this list.

Shocking the lack of men that were present in the chamber to hear this.

Violence against women and girls is not a problem for us to deal with alone.
Today I will read the list of names. One of the most privileged actions I take but also one of the toughest.
This needs blowing wide open, @jessphillipsmp.bsky.social >
