In celebration I went to Ace Hardware and purchased a new usb outlet that I have now installed, and I took Percy with me and he got squeaky tennis balls with which to celebrate his adoptiversary, and everyone is happy except Merlin, who has (temporarily) lost his playmate to a tennis ball obsession.

* this never happens with the first switch, as it invariably instead manages to turn off the wifi and computers that are then unhappy to reboot and subsequently cause difficulties out of spite

You may not understand how this magical device uncomplicates the lives of people who have inadequately labeled circuit breaker panels and thus have to run between rooms every time they flip a switch to see if this time the outlet has turned off,* so let me assure you the intervention is PROFOUND.
