I loved the use of language in this book, and the shifts from typical phrasings you refer to. It pulls you in deeper into the story & imagining you’re in the space with them.
The hours of mulling over the story & reflecting on current affairs - almost like an ear-worm!

Will be curious to hear your thoughts on Prophet Song. I finished it recently. Not something I would usually choose but an Irish author winning the Booker prize lured me in!
