Spent New Years Eve and New Years Day on the road. Made it home 8pm on New Years Day and went to bed. Long trip, Work this morning, but it's good to be home.

I really miss the days when Steam sales were an event with incredible deals and mini games and themes and such. These last few years have been really milquetoast. I don't even think the winter sale this year has trading cards.

I never really thought too hard about the portrayal of "nerds" in movies from 15+ years ago. Looking back I remember being offended by it but accepted it as the way things were. Even wealthy and successful "nerds" were frequently portrayed as unable to function in society.

I really really love all of the hyperspecialized content that we have near instantaneous access to. Stuff like this is weird and wonderful and hilarious and reminds me that despite all of the challenges it's an amazing time to be alive.

I really really love all of the hyperspecialized content that we have near instantaneous access to. Stuff like this is weird and wonderful and hilarious and reminds me that despite all of the challenges it's an amazing time to be alive.
As I come to accept that I am firmly in the realm of "middle age" I'm realizing that my new party drugs are now Aleve, Zantac, and Vitamin B.

Bought a new bag for this trip. Decided to give in and try a spinner for the first time. So far not a fan. Likely going to swap it out for a traditional roller after this trip.
