This feels like a very boomer take on TikTok. That app (RIP 🇺🇸) has allowed niche educational content to flourish. I don’t think it creates any more or less dependency than other social media, and I think it’s done a lot more good than most platforms, certainly if judging by current audience.

Throwing up barriers that make it difficult for skilled, experienced fire fighters to get paid, professional jobs after release is unjust and also foolish. Thankful for the folks who are helping folks make that transition and opening more equitable access to these important, high paying jobs.

Here is one guiding principle that I think everyone can take to heart: focus on how to use the everyday choices in your life to exert the most leverage on our interconnected energy, economic, and political systems and, hopefully, nudge things toward decarbonization just a little bit faster.
