This result is startling, but not unforeseeable. Most frameworks have only begun requiring climate disclosures recently. Because of the risk CC poses, this information might change investors’ minds. What counts as physical climate risk, however, is not always clear to reporting businesses.
New EY ESG investor survey:
📈92% of investors reluctant to sacrifice short-term gains for [perceived] longer-term rewards of ESG investments.
📈Only 55% believe climate change will have an impact on their investment strategies.

Today, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments on the first case addressing NEPA in two decades. Lab co-director J.B. Ruhl worries the decision will severely limit the scope of environmental impact assessments - perhaps eliminating requirements to measure carbon emissions.
