Candied and smoked jalapeño poppers with cream and Monterey Jack cheeses. The candy comes from multiple layers of brown sugar and rum glaze over about 45 minutes. I got these a bit smoky.

It was a chilly, drizzly November Sunday, so I made a pot of Ukrainian borscht and pampushki. 😋

🍽️🍜🇺🇦
A bowl of steamy hot Ukrainian borscht- a beet and cabbage soup- with a dollop of smetana and a handful of chopped fresh dill sitting on a plate with two pampushki- dinner rolls topped with garlic and parsley. Pampuski! Nine round, pillowy-soft tear-away rolls in a springform pan covered with crushed garlic and chopped fresh parsley sitting on a marble baking slab.

🍽️Here's something else that I made a few days ago. Poha. Poha is usually a light and healthy dish, that is easy to make, but I like to over-complicate things and I also like alot of veggies and peanuts in my Poha, Poha is great whatever way you make it though.

🌻Evening Bluetopia:I was a tad mentally drained by the time I got home today so husband made dinner-potato gnocchi (pre-made) paired with a simple tomato,garlic & onion sauce & grated Parmesan cheese.Yum yum yum.Very grateful.I’ll probably be asleep soon so bonne nuit mes amis 🍽️😊
