Angry Proud Liberal and Socialist.

Huri yama yama, huri yama yama
And this fight may not have been needed if @schumer.senate.gov hadn't given in at the beginning of the budget process

He immediately capitulated to the big beautiful bill which cut these subsidies in the first place

The donor class and the corporations they control want fascism

And our politicians just want to live off our tax dollars and the money from donors (and insider trade)

And neither of those things involve the well-being of human beings, especially not the average citizen

And the vote, if it were to happen, would be too late to affect 2026 insurance premiums

So they took a position of strength and made things worse

It's like negotiating to pay a higher price for a car

And they did it to appease their donors to the detriment of the average citizen

They got less than what they asked for

The promise for a vote has been broken before, such as the DC funding vote

The compromise includes a provision killing the hemp industry

It allows Senators to sue for being investigated

And, per Senator Wyden, a backdoor federal abortion ban

And this was all from a position of strength!

They also got enabling Republicans involved in January 6th to sue for damages, a hemp industry killing proviso and, per Senator Wyden, a backdoor federal abortion ban

Good job, fuckwads!

Yep, that includes @schumer.senate.gov, the quisling coward

Well those people who can't afford health insurance without subsidies obviously aren't donors, so why should @schumer.senate.gov give a damn?
