Members of the order Anura, not inured to encroaching authoritarianism, stand tall against kings and the enuretic Mike Johnson who is soaking in his own alarmist lies.

This very tall ghoul brandishing a sign reading "Hate won't make America great" came over after I took this picture, gave me a very warm & gentle hug, & thanked me for coming to the march today.

Out-of-control demonstrators, making contact with strangers to realize their "love, not hate" agenda.

Returning to the park after failing to attempt burning down San Jose City Hall or even one of the many U.S. flags carried by demonstrators, No Kings marchers pause their chaotic rampage at the crosswalk, waiting for the signal to walk.

On 18 June 1949, Ada Lois Sipuel enrolled in the University of Oklahoma College of Law, but only after a U.S. Supreme Court decision and a shameless attempt by the state to offer her separate-but-completely-unequal accommodations.

With a nod to the arcane, esoteric, obscure, or symbolic in James Joyce's Ulysses, we celebrated Bloomsday with a Basque cheesecake.*
*Joyce received a Jesuit education. The Society of Jesus was established by the Basque St. Ignatius Loyola. Neither Joyce nor St. Ignatius ate Basque cheesecake.
