I love her. I live closer to her office than I do my own rep's (because my community got big enough and progressive enough that we were positioned to purple, if not outright flip, the district we were in, so we got gerrymandered), but knowing she is still local does bring some comfort.

I've tried three numbers for Cornyn (D.C., plus my local and another office across the state) and it's busy signals for all three. I hope that means the phones are ringing off the hook.

I tried to call Sen. Cornyn (yes, I'm in Texas) and got the same glitches. Also, his D.C. and my local office voicemail was full, so hoping that's a good sign that folks are fired up and hollering.
