City has played three halves of preseason soccer in 2026. I think it’s safe to say the #ALLForCITY fan base is already feeling this. Preseason or not, mixed starting XI or whatever, can’t buy a goal, back line is still weak, Diego ruining relationships, no way to spin this. We are a really bad team.

I was always a fan of AZ. Got to meet him on the pitch before a game way back. Really hope he finds a good home with Vancouver but not at the expense of us of course 😁. Also, curious how AZ would’ve done in Damet’s system.

All I’m asking for is a team that is relevant enough to make a run at the Open Cup. Given the tourneys current structure where top MLS teams aren’t in it, we have to at least try to go for it. Austin didn’t light the regular season on fire but they came so close to winning the Open Cup. Why not us?

Absolutely. The good thing is Corey Wray seems to be the guy who knows how to get a deal like this done. I understand the need for patience when it comes to landing the next DP forward but Wray and Damet also can’t afford a terrible first half of the season scoring less goals than the Olof era.
