My car has a phone slot in the cup holder at the back so you can plug it in for charging (and now android auto after I modded it in).
It doesn't fit a phone as stupidly big as mine.
So with any luck, and some pinching and modifying of existing designs online...I'll make my own stand :P

installed windows 11 LTSC on to my t1700 on an SSD last night
faffed with easybcd to get the existing XP installation to boot through the old school Windows boot manager
installed fedora kinoite to go along with the other two...and it's wiped the win11/xp bootloader entirely

so my new laptop setup is my legion go on a phone stand with its display turned off sat next to and connected to a 16" 2560x1600 144Hz portable monitor, which then plugs into a 100w charger
connected via a USB hub is a thin and light TKL chiclet keyboard and a logitech g305

it has taken me *hours* to try and get UEFI+Legacy booting with NVMe working on my Dell Precision T1700 (it has no NVMe slots nor any support for booting it) but rEFInd has done it
(for some reason XP won't boot via rEFInd but the "reboot to drive" option works)
