He's writing one hell of a case study on how NOT to conduct an investigation. Rule #s 1-5 are you defer to the boots on the ground. If anything NEED be said, then you let them say it. You ask the field AIC if they have what they need. Get it for them if not. Shut the fuck up & stay out of the way.
