Everton and Tottenham went on a South American tour in 1909, and as a result there are several clubs in Chile, Argentina and Uruguay that bear the club’s name. Everton de Viña del Mar is the most notable, having been founded in 1909 and standing as the sixth-most successful club in Chile.
