Julie and me with some friends at the No Kings rally in Belton, TX. It's not a big town and is in the middle of a very Red area, but about 600 folks showed up. No violence or other problems, just good old-fashioned protesting American style.

Whatever the reason for Medicare, Medicaid, and welfare becoming American norms, they, like the nation, exist to serve the people. The government of a democracy is not a business. It is a service. It exists to serve the people, who are the ones supporting it with their labor and money.

Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla, wants to use violence against journalists who lie. Hey, Markwayne: Does that mean we can take out just about everybody on Fox, which had to pay hundred of millions because of its lies?
