Wild Pacific Rhodis in a forested area of a park on the northern Kitsap Peninsula. Apparently this is the only type of Rododendron native to Washington state.

just keeping the unwanted/needed groceries away. Thrive has great packaging but tends to throw the glass and other heavier items wrapped in it right on top of things like chips.?? So, minimal but haphazard packaging. Hope this is helpful to those also searching for alts

I guess there is at least ONE containership in the Puget Sound (heading out) and it wants you to know about it

Ah, yeah, another day of mtns and water… the Alaska-ness was extra cool, though.

If you didn’t already know some of this, and you are a reader or writers, heads up. More ways that Amazon fucks with creatives. Plus, the whole returns proposition—no other retail industry functions like this. (Peter Hankins of Orison Books, writing in May/June @pw.org)

Tahoma, also mistakenly known as Rainier, on the way into the city this am and Olympics on the way back. This is not a sucky commute.

The massive Walla Walla pulling into port as I stand in line for the fast ferry. If there’s time I much prefer the bigger one. It takes twice as long but you can stand on outside decks to use binoculars and cameras. Always a lot see in the Puget Sound, US.
